"Poppy"

“Poppy” – “I am here!!!!!” she is sociable, friendly and loves nothing more than sitting by your side and having a chat!  She always has something in her mouth and takes great delight in bringing you anything- socks, shoes, towels, dog beds!  She never gets into trouble as when she wants to pinch something or do something naughty she lets out an excited squeal and gives herself away before the act is done.  Poppy loves her food and like me has a constant battle of the bulge, I thought she was managing to cadge too may treats when I discovered that she had found the way to open the dog food store and was happily helping herself!

 

Poppy has had two litters and has just been mated for the last time.  Her first litter was to Show Champion Ritzilyn Brandon KCJW, they had nine babies (6dogs and 3 bitches).  Remington Ringmaster has done very well in the show ring with Larrie Des Courtes in France and has won CACIB.  Remington Romancing the Gem has been a successful brood bitch for Joy in Cornwall who said:

 "Gemma is the most beautiful of natures.  She loves small children and mothers them as if they were one of her pups.  She is good with other dogs, always willing to play.  Her skills as a mother are second to non.  She is gentle and loving to her human family and a very loyal friend."

 

Poppy’s second litter was to Show Champion Shardanell Talk O’ The Town at Ipcress, we wanted to keep a bitch puppy and to our horror Poppy produced seven dogs and only one bitch!  After a lot of debating we kept the only bitch and you can see her page: Remington Rudbeckia. 

Also from this litter were:

Remington Royal Blue who went to Germany.  Mirjam said “ He’s a lovely character with lot of will to please! Gentle and always friendly and loves everybody and every thing!  He has won a first in puppy class and has taken 4 firsts in junior class, but missed his title by only one junior ticket”

 

    Remington Rocking Robin who went to Liam in Ireland where he has just taken his first Green Star.

 

  Remington Razzle Dazzle who went to Ria in Finland and has had a very good junior career.

 

Remington Rupert Bear who went all the way to Candia to live with Dominic, he is maturing slowly and gained points towards his title

 

Remington Rolex who lives with Anne in Staffordshire
