Remington Golden Retrievers Rosie

Rosie was our gentle girl, she was a real softie and loved nothing more than cuddling up on the sofa! She also loved her walks in the park and although she was quiet and sedate at home she came alive when out in the country side. If Rosie could speak she would say things like ‘excuse me I would just like a tickle please!’ She was an extremely biddable and loving dog who had been an exceptional brood bitch having won Top Brood Bitch (Dog World/Hills Competition twice) and winner of the Westley Progeny Brood Bitch Cup (Golden Retriever Club).

Rosie produced two litters, both to Show Champion Elswood the Highlander. Six of Rosie’s ten pups were shown and the result was three show champions, two reserve CC winners and two junior warrant winners! Sh Ch Remington Remember Me KCJW Danish Champion Remington Rockafeller and Sh Ch Remington Requisite of Ramchaine.

Charmaign said of Jaz; " as to Jaz well she was something special from the time she first came into our home. She has always been bursting with love and affection as well as personality. On a walk she has to stop at every person we meet to say a quick hello and see if she can get a cuddle or two- she has two tactical approaches if they decide to ignore her; to lean against their legs or rest a head on their lap if sitting to plonk down and roll around in front of them with a stupid grin on her face hoping for a tummy tickle! Jazmin adores food! Wolfing down her meals in seconds and always looking for more. She likes to hold things in her mouth and has lots of teddies and other cuddly toys, if nothing is close to hand a smelly sock, piece of tissue, crisp packet or yoghurt pot will do fine. Jaz likes to eat rabbit droppings and roll in fox poo, all puddles have to be wallowed in and walks in wet weather become a mud bath every time, - chasing rabbits, squirrels and deer are considered great fun too! Jaz likes body contact wanting to lean against someone or lie underfoot while watching tv or on a computer, Jazmine has a superb nature. Her heart is huge, she is very giving of her affection to everyone and totally bomb proof. Nothing phases or frightens her. She has done quiet a few visits to the local primary schools to do classroom interaction and no doubt if I had the time she would make a wonderful PAT dog. Jaz has excelled as a mother, not wanting to be parted from and enjoying her pups till they leave. I could talk all day about how wonderful I think she is, Ray calls her his Blonde Bimbo or “Essex Girl” (even though she originated from Manchester!) as she is a floozy with the boys and so blonde and beautiful but brains are not her fortune!! (not too bad though she still managed to get the KC good citizens bronze, silver and gold awards without too much effort). Everyone who know Jazmine adores her, All I can say Penny and Paul is an incredibly big Thank You for creating such our irreplaceable, treasured, fun loving, charismatic, sweet natured, beautiful girl, …… the fact that she has 8 CCs, 3 BOB and 3 Res CC and produced JW CC and Res CC winners is just a bonus!!!"
